Membership of the Institute

People and organisations of good standing in the community and having a genuine interest in Value Management and its applications are welcome to join the Institute.  Applicants are required to demonstrate their interest in pursuing the Institute’s vision and objectives and they must give a commitment to abide by the Institute’s Rules, including the Code of Conduct.

Membership is of particular benefit to practitioners and students across most professional disciplines: architecture, engineering, law, building & construction, industrial design, quantity surveying, strategic planning, management (including consulting), industrial relations and human resources management, as well as public administration in general.  Members of the Institute have an established point of reference for professional development and they have opportunity to contribute and share in the exchange of professional experience, as well as to extend their network of talented and focussed professionals.
